CORPORATE REBEL
14:05 Hello dear, how are y’all doing?? I’m really excited because it was my birthday yesterday and I’m really grateful for the gift of life and how far I’d come and achieved on this journey called life. Also I am really happy one of my picture was used for an editorial in VOGUE Netherlands and I just found out last week click here , I’m really proud of myself and my style of course, Man’s not hot never but man is proud of himself *in big shaq’s voice* by the way if you aren’t following me on instagram yet I think it’s time to join the train @damidiamond.
The rationale behind today’s editorial are the people that stays/appear different even in the corporate society, you know when you visit a corporate firm and there’s this particular worker who just seems different even when in uniform with other workers.
Corporate rebel sounds really oxymoronic but it simply refers to people who works in the corporate world but do not do things in the conventional way, they tend to carve their own way of doing things and research have proven that this type of people are highly efficient at work [ask Google].
Sometimes it is difficult to tell what made them stands out but when you review critically you notice the little details that have helped them successfully played around the rule. Sometimes it’s the way they tuck in their shirts or having their tie hang out of their chest pocket or the way they accessorize, funky looking tie bars, even their hairstyles and sometimes the type of fabric theirs cloths were made of [hardly will a company include type of fabric in their dress code, they mostly deal colors], other times it might be their type of shoes; some love to rock multiple toned shoes or trend completely away from the box by rocking sneakers. How far you can go all depends on your post and also the flexibility of the dress ethics of the firm.
So it’s totally safe to say corporate rebels are people who find a way to bend or work around corporate fashion codes to express themselves with what they wear and how they wear it. I definitely want to know your view on this, kindly use the comment sector below.
Stay inspired and remain creative.
