You really don't need pain killers or hot water massage and all for it to it... A mentholated ointment (it's like a liquid Chinese balm) is enough to make it heal
The price I had mine for was (shoulda shouldn't I )  nah I'm not telling you the price but you can get it for a really cheap (1000-5000) amount depending on how strong your bargaining power is.

WHY DID I'VE MY SEPTUM PIERCED
I've been ask this question countless of times since I had my septum pierced and my answer have mostly been "because I want to" apparently because I know I owe no one an explanation and in as much as my answer isn't wrong that's the only reason I had it pierced.
Just so you know I've not the biggest fan of living in the moment and doing things just for doing sake... I mostly have a strong reason for doing Whatever it is I'm doing and for your information my parents don't even know I've a piercing and I didn't tell them because I know in as much as it's not a big deal for me it's a really big deal to them because of what the society have attributed it to be.

So back to the question of WHY so I did it because I want it and this is not because I think it beautifies me infact contrary to that I just feel it have this aura and vibe that it adds to my personality call it weird vibe if you want but it's like a physical manifestation of my person
So Call me a misfit _okay_ call me a rebel _you bet I am_
Also Weird attracts weird (as the Clyded creator will say weird don't go around calling themselves weird) It's like a filter to people I relate with now, of course if you have a problem with something as little as this then you've no business relating with me
And lastly I wanted it as a reminder to myself of who I'm and I'm above normal.
